Geoffrey Coulter - Speech Arts

Geoffrey Coulter is an award-winning actor, singer, director, theatre adjudicator and arts educator. He has performed on stages in the GTA and
the U.S. for more than four decades. Locally, he has directed to critical acclaim, productions of “The Odd Couple”, “Jake’s Women”, “A Few Good Men” and “A Man for All Seasons” and "Amadeus", all for Oshawa Little Theatre. Regional credits include “Barefoot in the Park”, “Murder at the Vicarage” and “Bedtime Stories”.

He is former artistic director of the Oshawa Little Theatre and Ajax Community Theatre Youth Groups, directing young company  productions of “Oliver”, “Guys and Dolls” "Seussical” and “Disney’s Descendants”. Geoff is a popular workshop facilitator in both acting and voice for both adults and children. Favourite acting roles include: The Creature (Frankenstein), Manningham (Gaslight), Harold (A Bench in the Sun), Merelli (Lend Me A Tenor), Victor (Private Lives), Frankie (Forever Plaid), Stanley (Run For Your Wife), Wilf (Quartet), Vito (It Had To Be You), Dr. Craven (The Secret Garden), Walter (CHESS In Concert), Capt. Smith (Titanic-The Musical). Geoff recently adjudicated the Eastern Ontario Drama League’s One-Act Play Festival and when he's not in a theatre, teaches on-camera performance at Durham College’s Media Broadcasting program.
